Blended Fever Leaves

In culinary practices, fever leaves are used to add flavor to soups, stews, and sauces. Its aromatic leaves can also be infused into teas or used in the preparation of herbal remedies.

Equipment

  • Blender or Food Processor

Materials

  • 1 bundle Fresh Fever Leaves
  • Water
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 Freezer storage bag (medium size)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, add a pinch of salt and enough water to cover the fever leaves.
  • Rinse and cleanse the fever leaves 2 - 3x.
  • Pluck the leaves from the stems and place in a blender.
  • Blend fever leaves, until you have a smooth paste.
  • Add blended fever leaves to freezer bag for storage.
