Liberian Cocodolo (breakfast porridge)

Liberian Cocodolo is a corn soya blend that is nutritional for babies and the entire family. The ingredients for this breakfast porridge are very easy to gather and simple to prepare for breakfast or evening comfort food.

- 2 cups Cocodolo mix (Soya Blend)
- 4 cups Water (add more as needed to smooth out lumps)
- 2 tbsp Butter
- ⅓ cup Sugar
- 1 can Evaporated Milk
- 2 tbsp Nestle powder milk (optional)
On low heat, add cocodolo mix to boiling water in a large pot and blend very well to remove all lumps or balls.
Once all lumps are smooth out, cook porridge for 15 mins and stir continuously to prevent burning at the bottom.
After cooking for 15 mins and as the porridge is getting thicker, add butter, evaporated milk and sugar for taste. Blend well for tasty porridge! Turn heat off and cool down for 5 mins.
In a bowl, pour few spoons of hot Liberian Cocodolo porridge, sprinkle powder milk on top and serve with your favorite sandwich, pancakes or doughnuts!
