Apple Cinnamon Puree is very nutritious for Babies. Apple is one of the safest and the most common food babies are introduced to when weaning them onto solids.

Ingredients

  • 1 Medium Apple (sliced, peeled or cut into chunks)

  • 2 Cups of Water

  • 1/4 Tsp Ground Cinnamon (Optional)

Directions

  • Rinse Apple for cleaning, sliced or chopped Apple into small chunks.
  • Place Apple and Water in a saucepan, cover and cook over medium heat until tender for 10 mins.
  • Puree Apple and Ground Cinnamon for added flavor using a hand blender or food processor (using baby bullet), until you have achieved the proper smoothness.

Notes

  • 1) One medium apple yields 6 oz of baby food.
  • 2) Add less water if you want a thicker food or more water for a thinner puree.
